crAppstore / UI Polisher

Agencies bill four figures for this. Here it is a button.

Point it at a page. Get the agency version back, with the receipts.

What it does

Give it a live web address and it hands back a polished copy: typography, buttons, spacing and accessibility brought up to modern standard, with a missing title or description filled in while it is in there. You get a new file back; the original is never touched.

Then it shows its work: a before-and-after you can put in front of a client, side by side, plus a written list of what got better. It works from a fixed checklist, not vibes, so you know exactly what it will and will not touch before you hand anything over.

Beta — opening soon. The page is live as a preview of how it will work. The polish button switches on for everyone at once, no waitlist to join here.

Who it's for

For freelancers who want to show the after picture before the invoice, and for builders whose app works great but looks like it works. If we will tighten up the UI later has ever been said out loud — it is later.

Fair warning before you read on: this one is not open yet. If you need a page polished this week, this page cannot help you this week. If you want to know exactly what is coming and when you will hear about it, keep reading — that is what the rest of this page is for.

How it will work

First, the plain truth this page owes you: UI Polisher is not switched on yet. The app page is live as a preview — the address box and the button are visibly greyed out, the button literally says "Opening soon", and nothing you type there is submitted anywhere. Everything below describes what it will do when it opens, not what you can do today.

1. Paste a live web address. One field. The page you point it at belongs to you or your client — theirbusiness.com, the app you shipped, the site that "works great but looks like a form".

2. The polish service reads the page. Reads only. Your live site is never written to, never modified, never taken down while someone fiddles. The original is only ever read.

3. It runs the checklist. A fixed one — typography, buttons, spacing and accessibility, brought up to modern standard. If the page is missing a title or a description, it fills those in while it is in there. Because it works from a checklist and not vibes, you know before you start what it will touch and what it will leave alone: your layout, your colors, your words and your code stay yours.

4. You get a new file back. A polished copy, separate from the original. Alongside it, a before-and-after you can put side by side in front of a client, and a written list of what got better — the receipts.

5. Higher rungs carry it further. The second rung is where you download the polished file, get the client-ready before-and-after, and take it live.

What you will walk away with

When it opens: a polished copy of your page as a new file, with the original untouched. A side-by-side before-and-after that does the selling for you. And the written what-got-better list, which is the part agencies are actually billing four figures for — not the work, the ability to show the work.

On the first rung the polish and the list stay on screen. The second rung hands you the file and lets you take it live. All of it free while the beta is on, once the button switches from grey to real.

What's on the page today, in plain words

The preview form. The address box and the polish button, both switched off and labeled so. They exist so you can see the shape of the thing you are waiting for.

The beta pill. "Beta — opening soon", right at the top, plus a warning box saying nothing is submitted yet and no page you paste in gets touched. The page says it twice because it means it.

The no-waitlist note. When it opens, it opens for everyone at once. There is no separate list to get on and no queue to jump.

The email bar. "New crap lands here first." This is the one live control on the page. Type your email and it really does go to the store's list, and you really will hear when new crApps — this one included — switch on. There is also an X, which really does make it go away.

A way back. A link back to the store, because a page you cannot use yet should at least be easy to leave.

The honest part

This is the only crApp on the shop with a detail page longer than its working feature list. The polish engine exists and has run end to end in the shop — that is where the checklist and the before-and-after come from — but the public button is not wired to it yet, and we would rather show you a greyed-out button than a fake progress bar.

So, plainly: you cannot polish a page today. The descriptions above are the plan, not a demo you can run. The one thing on the page that works is the email bar, and the one promise we will make about timing is that we are not making one — it opens when it is ready, for everyone at once.

The version ladder below shows what each rung will cost after the beta. Like every crApp, joining during the beta keeps it free for you afterwards — and that applies here the day the button goes live.

Questions people ask

Can I use it right now? No. The form is a preview and the button is switched off. The page says "Opening soon" because it is honest, not coy.

Will it change my live site? No — not now (nothing is submitted at all) and not later (the service reads your page and hands back a new file; the original is never touched).

When does it open? When it is ready. No date, no waitlist — it switches on for everyone at once. The email bar is how you hear about it.

Why list an app that is not ready? Because the store shows what is coming and marks it plainly, instead of hiding it behind a countdown timer. You are reading the mark right now.

Will it be free too? While the beta is on, yes — same deal as every other crApp, starting the day it opens.
