crApp Factory Contributor Terms
Last updated: September 20, 2026
These cover submitting your own crApp to be listed in the shop. They sit on top of the Terms of Service.
1. You keep it
You own what you submit. Nothing here transfers ownership.
2. What you grant the shop
While your crApp is listed, the shop may host it, show it, describe it, promote it, and sell subscriptions to it. That permission ends when the listing ends, apart from keeping records of sales already made.
3. What you promise
- It is yours to give, or you have written permission for every part of it.
- It does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or patent, and it contains no code you are not allowed to distribute.
- It contains no malware, no hidden data collection, and no calls home that the listing does not disclose.
- It does nothing on the acceptable-use list of things a crApp may not do.
4. Review
Every submission is read by a person before it is listed, and can be declined for any reason. Being declined is not a judgement of you; the shop is small and opinionated.
5. Money
- Your split and the payout schedule are shown to you at submission and confirmed in writing before your crApp goes live. Nothing is listed for sale until you have that in writing.
- Payouts go through Stripe. You will need to give Stripe what they require, including tax details.
- Refunds and chargebacks on your crApp come out of the same pot before the split.
- You are responsible for your own taxes.
6. Pulling a listing
Either side can end a listing with reasonable notice. Ending it does not cancel money already earned. Subscribers already holding your crApp keep access to the end of the period they paid for.
7. Stolen work
Anything that turns out not to be yours is removed immediately and is not paid out.
