Short version: privacy-focused aggregate visit counts, no analytics cookies, no advertising pixels, no cross-site tracking, and nothing sold to anybody.
1. What is actually set
- Essential only. Small values that keep the shop working while you use it — which windows you opened, which version of an app you hold, and a random identifier that keeps repeat free checkouts from being counted as different people.
- Stripe. During a payment, Stripe sets its own cookies to spot fraud. Those are Stripe's, not ours.
- Vercel Web Analytics. Counts anonymous page views and daily visitors without analytics cookies. A request-derived visitor hash is discarded after 24 hours.
- Nothing else. No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no ad network, no cross-site tracking.
2. Local storage on your device
Your private links and an app's own settings are kept in your browser's storage, on your device. A separate random crapp_visitor identifier is sent to crAppstore and Stripe only when you choose to start a free checkout, so downloads can be counted without attaching them to your name. Clearing your browser data clears these local values — email us and we will resend your links.
3. Your choices
There is no consent banner because Vercel Web Analytics does not set analytics cookies and no advertising tracker runs here. Your browser can block scripts or clear local storage; the shop still works, but visit counts may be incomplete and you may have to open your links from your email again. A privacy signal sent by your browser is honoured by default.
