crAppstore not saving the world, just making crApp

About

Two years ago I could not do this. I did not know that, so I built it anyway.

I'm Alex Alexander. I started using AI two years ago, on my own hardware, on my own time. Not for a company — there isn't one.

I went looking for tools to build with. The ones I found did not work the way I needed them to. So I stopped looking for them and started making my own.

That never stopped. Every time I hit a wall I built the piece that got me past it, and the pieces started fitting together. What they add up to is an operating system for AI agents — mine, running on my own machines.

Every crApp on this shop is a piece of it. Nothing here was invented to be sold. These are working parts, pulled off a system that is actually running, and they still do the job they were built to do. If one of them saves you the afternoon it saved me, take it.

What the pieces add up to

Memory that does not forget. Agents that check each other's work. Safety gates that stop a machine doing something it cannot undo. That is the system these tools were cut from, and it is what I am still building.

Several pieces I built turned out to be things venture-funded companies started building well over a year later — some now worth hundreds of millions. I got there on my own: no team, no budget, and nobody telling me it was the right problem.
